Rocío and Cristina — a Doctor in Pharmacology with research experience in regeneration, and an expert in Marketing and Cosmetology — decided to embark on a shared venture and founded Alma Secret in 2016.
Both had sensitive skin and couldn’t find gentle yet highly active cosmetics that truly worked for them, so they decided to create their own.
Inspired by Rocío’s father, a pharmacist passionate about plants and natural ingredients, they set out to transform natural cosmetics into intelligent dermocosmetics — merging the power of traditional phytotherapy with the latest innovations in biotechnology, active encapsulation and scientific evidence.
They began by making their first creams with a simple mixer and preparing extracts in small glass jars, convinced that the key to success was controlling every step of the process. Today, Alma Secret formulates and manufactures all its products in its own factory and R&D laboratory, ensuring maximum quality, traceability and efficacy in every product.

Our formulas are biodegradable and eco-friendly.
Each product is created with organic and natural ingredients infused in thermal water, along with plant-based active technologies selected for their exceptional quality and supported by in vitro and in vivo studies that prove their efficacy.

Alma Secret is cruelty-free, certified by PeTA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), which ensures that our products and ingredients are made without cruelty or animal testing.
We are also transitioning all our packaging and printed materials to FSC-certified cardboard and paper, sourced from sustainable and responsibly managed forests.
All our containers are made from 100% recyclable PET or glass, with a 20–40% PCR recycled content.
We manufacture using green energy from 222 solar panels, preventing the emission of 32 tonnes of CO₂ per year — the equivalent of what 2,000 trees would absorb!
Finally, 1% of our profits go towards social and environmental causes, supporting REFORESTA (tree planting in Spain), the Ronald McDonald Foundation (with a family room at the Virgen de la Arrixaca Hospital in Murcia), and the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC).
