How does AnaGain™ Nu work?
AnaGain™ Nu acts at the level of the dermal papilla, stimulating signalling pathways involved in initiating a new phase of hair growth. In a two-week bioassay using AnaGain™ Nu at a concentration of 2%, a 56% increase in Noggin expression and an 85% increase in FGF7 expression were observed. Both are signalling factors associated with the hair follicle cycle.
Noggin is associated with shortening the telogen (resting) phase, while FGF7 plays a role in keratinocyte proliferation and the initiation of a new anagen (growth) phase.
