The following results are based on scientific studies conducted on the ingredients by their respective manufacturers, under the specific conditions and dosages used in each study:
About Ashwagandha (Sensoril®) (125 mg)*:
Following daily supplementation with 125 mg of Sensoril® Ashwagandha, significant improvements in emotional well-being indicators were observed, along with a 14.5% reduction in cortisol levels and a 31.6% reduction in C-reactive protein levels.
Study: A placebo-controlled clinical trial (Auddy, 2008) evaluating different doses of Sensoril®. At a daily dose of 125 mg, scores on the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A) decreased by 62.2%, serum cortisol levels by 14.5%, and C-reactive protein levels by 31.6%. A 13.2% increase in DHEA-S levels was also observed.
In a second study, daily supplementation with 125 mg of Sensoril® Ashwagandha resulted in a 23.3% improvement in perceived well-being indicators and a 24.4% reduction in cortisol levels, alongside significant improvements in sleep quality and vitality.
Study: A placebo-controlled clinical trial (Pandit, 2024) evaluating daily doses of 125, 250 and 500 mg. At a dose of 125 mg/day, a 23.3% improvement in perceived well-being scores (PSS) was observed, along with reductions of 24.4% in plasma cortisol, 55.4% in ACTH and 23.3% in salivary alpha-amylase.
Overall, studies conducted with a daily dose of 125 mg of Sensoril® Ashwagandha have shown favourable results in indicators associated with emotional well-being, physiological balance, sleep quality and vitality.
